This is my process of impregnating wild clay collected from a forest in Villnachern, Switzerland (Sept 2021), while in residency with number_5 GmbH, with locally found agrimony seeds, wedging the clay into an elastic state, letting it rest, then making sculptures of children and placing them back into the wild to grow. These initial maquettes are The Changelings, and are part of the larger body of work entitled Pastoral Care. This video was created and edited by artists Gordana Bezanov and Martin Siegrist.
