Los Angeles based multidisciplinary artist Joanna Grasso has a deep interest in exploring the psyche and alchemical transformation through her practice. The work is often informed by mythology, female narratives, archetypes, and cultural and religious symbology; as well as traditions, rites, and rituals that bind us together.
Grasso studied studio arts at the Lorenzo de’Medici School of Art in Florence, Italy, then went on earn a BFA in Painting and Drawing and an MFA in Exhibition Design & Museum Studies.
